How Procurement Works

Mercer's procurement workflow is the same transparent pricing process documented on our superyacht procurement page. For Gianneschi specifically:

1. Send the spec. Email a parts list with model numbers (or pump plate photos), voltage, quantities, and delivery point. We accept WhatsApp, email, or a marked-up engine-room schematic.
2. Receive a quote in 24-48 hours. Itemised supplier cost plus a Mercer service-fee line, shown separately. No handling fees, no urgency surcharges, no hidden margin.
3. Confirm and pay. Single proforma invoice covering all SKUs and delivery. EUR pricing, Maltese VAT handling for EU and non-EU yachts.
4. We coordinate factory dispatch. Stock items ship from Tuscany within 5-7 working days. Build-to-order autoclaves run on a 2-3 week cycle when stock is depleted.
5. Mediterranean delivery. Same-day Malta, 1-2 days Central Med, 2-3 days Western Med and Adriatic, 2-4 days Eastern Med.
6. After-sales through Ritz Marine. Warranty registration, spares stock at the Malta showroom, technical support from the authorised dealer team.

Multi-Unit & Refit Pricing

Mercer applies a transparent pricing on the Gianneschi supplier cost, shown as a separate line on every quote. That percentage holds whether you are ordering one pump or thirty. We do not run volume discounts as commission overrides. Larger orders instead get tighter freight consolidation and longer payment terms negotiated against the supplier.

For full refit packages, charter-fleet rollouts of 5+ units, or new-build engine-room specifications, we work with your project manager to bundle Gianneschi with complementary brands (mechanical seals, pressure tanks, valving) and quote the whole engine-room package as a single line. Our service fee applies to the entire bundle, not per item.

Ritz Marine holds the authorised Gianneschi dealer relationship for Malta and handles the warranty and technical service relationship with the factory. Mediterranean Delivery & After-Sales

Free delivery within Malta. Beyond Malta we coordinate freight through our Mediterranean network with destinations including Antibes, Cannes, Palma de Mallorca, Barcelona, Genoa, Naples, Athens, Mykonos, Split, Tivat, and Bodrum. Lead times above. Spares are stocked at the Ritz Marine Malta showroom in Marsascala for same-day Med dispatch on the highest-attrition parts (impellers, seal kits, pressure switches).

For non-Gianneschi engine-room spares, Mercer maintains a network of 500+ verified European suppliers covering pump, valve, seal, and bearing manufacturers. If you specify a complete engine-room refit, we quote the whole list including non-Gianneschi items rather than handing you back to multiple vendors.

Technical service, warranty claims, and on-board commissioning are coordinated through Ritz Marine's service team in Malta. For yachts based outside Malta, we coordinate with the Gianneschi dealer network across the Mediterranean to keep warranty cover intact wherever your fleet is wintering.
