When the duty cycle is higher and failure isn't an option

Commercial fenders are SEARAFT's grade-2 build — material thickness, seam reinforcement, and valve duty all uprated for operational vessels: support craft, ferries, coast guard cutters, harbour tugs, rescue ships. The military grade extends that to 8 ft diameter for naval and offshore support work where the fender sees continuous exposure and tactical loading.

Commercial & military FAQ

What documentation can you supply with the order?

Certificates of origin, material conformity, manufacturer's compliance statements, and serial-number records. For tender submissions we can supply technical datasheets in your preferred format.

Can you supply against framework agreements or fleet contracts?

Yes. Mercer Yachting holds the SEARAFT Mediterranean dealer position and can structure framework supply with agreed pricing, lead times, and spares holdings. Contact us with your operational profile and we'll come back with a draft framework.

Are these compatible with naval procurement processes?

SEARAFT supplies naval forces worldwide. We can structure proposals to fit standard naval procurement formats — line items, conformity documentation, end-use declarations, and lead-time guarantees. Export control screening applies as standard.

What's the lead time for an 8 ft military fender?

Custom production at this size typically runs 4 to 8 weeks from confirmation of order. Mediterranean transit adds 4 to 7 days. We can confirm exact production schedule against your delivery requirement.

Do you offer spares packages?

Yes — spare valves, repair kits, replacement load spreading kits, and standby fenders. Recommended for operational fleets where downtime carries cost.
