Custom Neoprene Fender Covers, Any Brand, Any Size
Protect the fender. Protect the hull. Match the yacht.
SEARAFT NEO is a proprietary high-performance neoprene developed for fender covers. The same material trusted in wetsuits — flexible, tough, abrasion-resistant, UV-stable. Snug fit, no stretch, no fade. Available for every fender brand including Polyform, Maros, Fendequip, and SEARAFT's own range, in any size on request.
Procuring across the fleet? Bulk cover orders for charter operators and management companies receive framework pricing.
Why neoprene over traditional knitted covers
- Holds its shape — knitted covers stretch and sag, neoprene keeps a snug fit through the season
- UV resistant — colour stays true through Mediterranean summers, no fade or yellowing
- Abrasion resistant — handles the dock and rafting wear that strips knitted fabric
- Lower water absorption — dries faster, doesn't carry mildew between port calls
- Modern aesthetic — smooth matte finish complements the yacht's exterior rather than fighting it
- Easier to clean — wipe down with fresh water, no specialist detergents needed
Three standard colours
Custom Pantone match available on bulk orders.

Branding options
- Yacht name — silk-screen printed or embroidered, single colour or full-colour
- Charter brand — for fleet charter operators (logo, brand initials, season identifier)
- Crew identifier — vessel call sign, IMO number, or crew ID for management companies
- Position markers — bow / mid / stern for quick deployment in a hurry

NEO covers FAQ
What's the lead time?
Standard colours and sizes ship in 3 to 4 weeks. Custom branding adds 1 to 2 weeks for print preparation. Bulk fleet orders (10+ covers same spec) ship in 4 to 5 weeks. Mediterranean transit adds 4 to 7 days.
Do I need to send my fenders to be measured?
Not for standard brand fenders — we know the dimensions. For custom or older fenders, send us length and diameter measurements (or a photo with a tape measure). For absolute precision on a one-off custom cover, we can take measurements from the actual fender — drop it at our Malta location or ship it to the SEARAFT facility in the Netherlands.
How do I clean and maintain them?
Rinse with fresh water at the end of each charter or week. Use mild soap for stains. Avoid solvents and abrasive scrubbers — they damage the neoprene surface. Store dry between season-end and the next charter. Expected lifespan with proper care is 4 to 6 Mediterranean seasons.
Can you do covers for an entire charter fleet?
Yes — framework pricing applies for bulk orders. Common setup: 6 to 10 covers per yacht, matched colour and branding across the fleet. Mercer Yachting handles the spec coordination so you only deal with one supplier rather than chasing each yacht's covers individually.
What if a cover gets damaged?
Single replacement orders are available — same lead time as new orders. For fleet operations we recommend keeping 1 to 2 spare covers per yacht in storage for charter handovers when a damaged cover would be obvious.
Are the covers compatible with both inflatable and traditional foam fenders?
Yes. The neoprene stretches lightly to fit the fender shape without distorting it. Designed for SEARAFT inflatable fenders and equally suited to Polyform and other foam-fender brands.
