The Searaft Inflatable Platform is the flagship standard range from Airgroup Industries BV, the Nijmegen-based Dutch Floating Engineers who have quietly become the reference name in premium inflatable platforms for 30 m+ superyachts. Every platform is 20 cm thick, 100% made in Europe, and built from Double Wall Fabric with REACh-compliant airtight boat fabric. Integrated water ballast bags sit beneath the platform and lock it to the sea surface, keeping the deck flat and level even with multiple guests, sunbeds and toys aboard. Rubbing strakes on all four sides protect the hull of your yacht during contact.

Which Searaft platform size suits my yacht?

As a general LOA guide, the PL375 (3.75 m²) suits 24–35 m yachts as a compact swim-step extension; the PL525 (5.25 m²) is the most-specified size for 30–45 m; the PL675 (6.75 m²) works well on 40–55 m with longer transoms; and the PL800 (8.00 m²) is the flagship 4×2 m deck sized for 50 m+ yachts that want a full floating beach club. Teak surface or Diamond anti-slip — which should I choose?

Teak deck delivers the traditional superyacht aesthetic and tends to match existing swim platforms and side decks. The Diamond anti-slip surface is a grey diamond-pattern finish with a more technical, modern look and slightly higher grip when wet. Both are factory options at zero additional cost; pick based on the finish of your existing deck and your guest profile.

How does the water ballast system actually work?

Water ballast bags attach to the underside of the platform and fill naturally when the platform is launched. The weight of water below the deck lowers the centre of gravity and anchors the platform to the sea surface, keeping the deck flat and level even with multiple guests walking and sitting on it. The bags empty automatically when the platform is lifted for stowage.

The integrated pressure relief valve prevents over-inflation in direct sun.

What is the maximum load capacity per size?

[VERIFY] — the Searaft 2025 brochure and retail price list do not publish a specific kg load rating per size. Operationally the PL525 comfortably supports 6–8 adults with sunbeds and the PL800 scales to roughly 12+ adults, but for any load-critical application (charter briefings, guest safety plans) we recommend requesting the manufacturer's latest load statement through Mercer Yachting before ordering.

Will a platform connect to a Searaft SeaPool, jet-ski dock or e-foil dock?

Yes — that is the defining feature of the Searaft system. Every platform ships with two multifunctional connection plugs and two connection straps, and connects on all four sides to other Searaft products. You can therefore start with a single PL525 and add a SeaPool for a swimming enclosure, a jet-ski dock for tender launching, or an e-foil dock for hydrofoil toys in a later season without replacing the core platform.

What warranty is included?

Every Searaft platform supplied through Mercer Yachting comes with the full Airgroup Industries BV manufacturer warranty. Every unit also ships with a service kit, carry/storage bag, connection straps, standard D-rings, soft grip handles, water ballast bags and rubbing strake as standard. Optional boarding ladder, lounge seat, I-bow bumper and Air Step transom bumpers are priced separately.

Yes.
