Searaft SeaPool

Inflatable jellyfish-safe swim pool for the open anchorage

The Searaft SeaPool transforms any open-water anchorage into a private swimming pool at sea. An inflatable ring-shaped frame supports a 2.1 m deep marine-life-free net, creating a safe, enclosed body of water where owners, families, and charter guests can swim without concern for jellyfish or passing marine life. The result is the calm, contained experience of a pool — set in the open Mediterranean, the Caribbean, or anywhere the yacht drops anchor.

Built in the Netherlands by Searaft (Airgroup Industries BV), the SeaPool is engineered to superyacht tolerances: double-wall fabric, airtight boat fabric, REACh-compliant materials, and a 100% Made-in-Europe supply chain. It is fully modular, combining with Searaft Platforms and Jet Ski Docks to form a complete anchorage configuration. Mercer Yachting supplies the SeaPool through sister brand Ritz Marine, exclusive Searaft dealer in Malta.

Marine-Life-Free Swimming

The 2.1 m deep jellyfish net encloses the swim zone completely, creating a protected body of water free from jellyfish, marine debris, and other open-water surprises. Guests can swim with confidence in anchorages where open-water swimming would otherwise be compromised.

A Private Pool at Sea

Owners and charter guests gain the calm, contained experience of a private swimming pool set in the open ocean. The perimeter platform doubles as a lounging deck in teak or diamond anti-slip finish, framing a structured water-level social space that children, families, and groups can all share.

Modular Searaft Ecosystem

The SeaPool is engineered to interlock with Searaft Platforms (e.g. PO600 + PL800), Jet Ski Docks, and eFoil Docks to form a full anchorage configuration. Start with a SeaPool and expand the water-level estate season by season as tender, toy, and guest requirements evolve.

Why the Searaft SeaPool for Your Superyacht?

Open-anchorage swimming is one of the defining experiences of a superyacht programme — and also one of the most easily disrupted. Jellyfish blooms, weed, and passing marine life regularly close what should be the yacht's best amenity: the water itself. The Searaft SeaPool solves this permanently. A single inflatable ring anchored around the bathing zone, paired with a 2.1 m deep marine-life-free net, recreates the private-pool experience every guest expects — without giving up the view, the breeze, or the open-water setting.

From a programme standpoint, the SeaPool is straightforward to operate. A single air chamber inflates the ring, the net drops in underneath with integrated weight bags, and two multifunctional plugs accept the optional boarding ladder. When the day ends, the whole assembly folds and rolls to 40 cm storage thickness and stows in the supplied carry bag. The PO400 variant (60 kg) suits family cruising and owner-use yachts; the PO600 (80 kg) covers larger charter groups and delivers a materially larger usage surface without changing the deployment workflow.

Mercer Yachting supplies the Searaft SeaPool through our sister brand Ritz Marine, the exclusive Searaft dealer in Malta. Our team in Marsaskala delivers to every major Mediterranean yachting hub — Antibes, Palma de Mallorca, Monaco, Genoa, Athens, and Split — with worldwide freight available to any nominated port or agent. We can specify complete Searaft configurations combining the SeaPool with Searaft Platforms, Jet Ski Docks, and eFoil Docks so your yacht carries one integrated water-level estate rather than a collection of unrelated toys.

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the jellyfish net actually work?

A 2.1 m deep net is suspended from the inflatable ring and weighted at the bottom using the supplied weight bags. This creates a fully enclosed, marine-life-free swimming volume from the water surface down to 2.1 m depth. Jellyfish, weed, and small marine life are kept outside the ring, while water itself flows freely through the mesh. The net is removable if the SeaPool is used purely as a lounging platform.

Is the SeaPool safe for children?

Yes — this is one of the SeaPool's primary use cases. The enclosed design gives parents a defined, protected swim zone that children cannot drift out of, which is a significant safety upgrade over open-water swimming from the swim platform. Soft-grip handles line the perimeter and the 2.1 m net keeps the swim volume contained. Adult supervision is always recommended, as with any water activity.

How long does the SeaPool take to inflate and deploy?

The SeaPool uses a single air chamber, so inflation is straightforward with a high-volume 12 V electric pump (typically 10–15 minutes for the ring). Net deployment and weight bag filling take an additional few minutes once the ring is on the water. Most yachts have the SeaPool fully operational inside 20–25 minutes from the moment it leaves the storage bag. [VERIFY deployment time]

Can the SeaPool connect to other Searaft products?

Yes. The SeaPool is fully modular and designed to connect to Searaft Platforms (for example PO600 + PL800), Jet Ski Docks, and eFoil Docks. Typical configurations place a Searaft Platform alongside the SeaPool as a lounging and embarkation deck, with a Jet Ski Dock adjacent for water-toy operations. Mercer Yachting specifies the complete ecosystem as a single delivery.

Is the SeaPool safe to leave deployed in rougher seas?

The SeaPool is designed for deployment at anchor in calm to moderate conditions. In developing swell or rising wind, the prudent approach — as with any inflatable platform — is to recover and deflate the SeaPool before conditions degrade further. Its 40 cm folded profile and carry bag make recovery a straightforward crew task. Never leave the SeaPool deployed unattended overnight.

Are weight bags included, and what do I fill them with?

Yes, the net weight bags themselves are supplied with every SeaPool. The ballast that goes inside the bags is not included — this is intentional, so crews can use any suitable locally-sourced ballast (typically clean sand or pea gravel) without freighting weight across borders. Filling the bags takes only minutes ahead of the first deployment of the season.

What warranty does the Searaft SeaPool carry?

The SeaPool is backed by Searaft / Airgroup Industries BV's standard manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. Build quality is anchored in double-wall fabric, airtight REACh-compliant boat fabric, and a 100% Made-in-Europe supply chain. Mercer Yachting supports every unit post-sale via the dealer channel. [VERIFY warranty period]

Do you deliver to ports outside Malta?

Yes. Mercer Yachting ships to every major Mediterranean yacht hub — Antibes, Palma de Mallorca, Monaco, Genoa, Athens, and Split — and worldwide by air or sea freight to any nominated port or agent. Typical Mediterranean delivery for the SeaPool is 2–4 weeks depending on stock, destination, and carrier. Charter-season rush options are available where factory stock permits.
