The RACLAN Square Marine Box is an active lithium fire safety box engineered for permanent installation aboard yachts and day boats. It provides monitored charging and safe storage for removable water toy batteries in a fully watertight enclosure.
The RACLAN Square Marine Box provides continuous protection throughout the entire charging cycle. If a thermal event occurs, the system responds automatically; no crew intervention required.
Test result: External surface temperature did not exceed 100°C during thermal runaway testing, protecting crew and surrounding materials from ignition.
The RACLAN Square Marine Box accommodates removable batteries from all major water toy manufacturers. Any battery up to 3.5 kWh can be safely charged and stored.
The RACLAN Square Marine Box is independently tested and certified, with alignment to current maritime safety guidance for lithium battery storage and charging.

The RACLAN Square fits any removable lithium battery up to 3.5 kWh, including batteries from Fliteboard, Lift eFoils, Awake boards, Audi e-tron Aerofoils, Radinn, Lampuga, drones, and all other removable water toy batteries within the capacity limit.
Yes, the RACLAN Square Marine Box is fully watertight and designed for permanent outdoor marine use on deck or in exposed locations aboard yachts and day boats.
The TRIDENT® system activates automatically during a thermal runaway event. Multi-nozzle spray heads flood the interior with extinguishing agent, suppressing the fire while the system simultaneously cuts power to the charger and activates acoustic and visual alarms. Toxic gases are filtered through the integrated exhaust system. The TRIDENT® agent has a 10-year shelf life.
The RACLAN Square Marine Box is aligned with MGN 681 (M) Amendment 1 guidance. It provides dedicated storage and charging for batteries above the 100 Wh threshold specified in section 4.2, with temperature monitoring, automatic extinguishing, off-gas venting, and automatic charging shutdown as required by the guidance.
Monthly checks of the TRIDENT® agent level, quarterly electronics and sensor testing, and annual inspection of seals and exhaust filtration. The TRIDENT® extinguishing agent has a 10-year shelf life, minimising long-term maintenance requirements.
